Work has begun at Kernans Spar Ramelton this week as a full store revamp gets underway. The store is going through some major changes at the moment and is undergoing a significant transformation to improve its offering to include a new fresh food concept and a new Spar Deli offering. The store will still boast a core grocery range and a strong off-licence to compliment the new features.

Regarding the decision to revamp, Pauric McGarvey, Manager of the store, says it was simply time to make some changes after ten years. “We are delighted to be relaunching this store and introducing lots of new fresh food concepts,” said Pauric. “We feel there was a gap in the market for a really strong, fresh food and coffee offering. I’d like to thank my loyal customers for their patience while the building works are ongoing and I can't wait for them to experience the new store once complete.”
Old shelving are cleared away and work continues on the tiling
The new Spar concept combines a unique range of fixtures and fittings with an expertly selected array of products and imagery that will make it one of the most innovative stores in the convenience sector in Donegal.
"Everything in the store is being changed and modernized , from the till counter, to the store lighting, the shelving, all the fresh foods displays and our Deli counter. The entire store is getting a make over", said Damian Daly the Managing Director of the Kernan Group .
